Core Values

For a relationship to work really well, both people must hold the same deep seated beliefs; if they truly don’t, then some time, somewhere, one person will shock and horrify the other with their behavior.
Two economists might both see the world in transactional terms, where everything has a value, leisure time and work time are tradeoffs, and there is an opportunity cost to everything from love to diapers.

Finding acceptance

It’s pretty clear that one key to a good relationship is complete acceptance of the other. All their actions are OK; nothing is barred or criticized. By doing so, you offer a safe space for the other to be in. They have the option to express themselves however they want, without fear of criticism, and this freedom gives them the opportunity to be authentic, to find themselves, to live to the fullest.
